Requirements
- 7+ years of UX research experience on digital products.
- Proven track record of insights that led to measurable product improvements.
- Experience managing or mentoring researchers.
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Experience conducting complex research at scale.
- Proven ability to present research to executive audiences and influence decisions.
- Experience with B2B products supporting business productivity, project management, or processes.
- Ability to drive alignment with cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities
- Own the research roadmap for your product area, identifying the opportunities with the highest potential for customer and business impact.
- Manage and mentor a small team of researchers, supporting their growth and the quality of their work.
- Lead research planning and execution end to end, building alignment with cross-functional peers and stakeholders throughout the process.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering partners to align research priorities with business goals.
- Synthesize research with other sources of data, such as product analytics and competitive intelligence, to surface patterns and opportunities.
- Translate complex findings into clear narratives and actionable recommendations for stakeholders including senior leaders.
- Contribute to scalable research practices and infrastructure that advance Smartsheet's UX maturity.
