Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in regulatory marketing compliance in banking, financial services, or fintech.
- Proven experience with consumer protection regulations such as UDAP/UDAAP, Reg Z, E, B.
- Strong knowledge of bank and/or payments financial ecosystems.
- Proven experience with Banking as a Service either for/with a regulated bank or Program Manager or similar.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Strong analytical skills and continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to manage a small team of resources.
- Hands-on approach with a concise and straightforward style.
- Experience supporting bank partnerships, audits and examinations (nice-to-have).
- Experience with collateral review systems/tools such as Blee, Workfront, or Red Oak (nice-to-have).
- CRCM designation or similar compliance designation (nice-to-have).
Responsibilities
- Drive and manage formal review process for external customer marketing content and campaigns including advertisements, promotional content, digital media, social media and product information.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including UDAP/UDAAP, and FTC advertising rules.
- Coordinate with Legal, Marketing, and other departments to obtain necessary approvals and feedback.
- Provide compliance advisory support to Product, Marketing, Legal, Sales, and other departments throughout product and campaign lifecycles.
- Monitor and assess external industry trends and regulatory environment to help shape Marqeta's compliance strategy.
- Maintain strong relationships and coordinated efforts directly with Banking partners and Marqeta customers.
