Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the AEC industry.
- BS in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or equivalent technical/field experience.
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, coordinated modeling, and construction documentation.
- Experience delivering technology system designs (Telecom/ICT, Structured Cabling, Low Voltage).
- Experience leading BIM coordination efforts including clash detection and model review.
- Technical understanding of engineering principles, calculations, product research, and specification development.
- Familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Asana, and GitHub.
- Ability to manage workloads across multiple projects and lead coordination efforts.
- Valid driver's license/ability to travel to client sites for meetings, surveys, or inspections.
- Professional certifications such as EIT, CDT, RCDD, or PE are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own discipline-specific outputs and ensure accuracy, coordination, and alignment with project expectations.
- Develop designs, drawings, specifications, and calculations with increasing independence.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, manufacturers, and design partners through meetings and coordination sessions.
- Contribute discipline scope input for pursuits and assist with proposal coordination.
- Maintain project documentation using tools like GitHub, Design Decision Logs, Asana, and Callback One.
- Provide informal mentorship to Designers and early-career team members.
- Support site walks, surveys, and construction-phase coordination as needed.
