Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent certification.
- 5+ years of experience working with data and business intelligence solutions using the Microsoft tool stack.
- Proficiency with SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Azure Data Factory, SQL DW, Synapse, Databricks, Power BI, and Power Automate.
- Experience working in a support role with an understanding of standard support processes like ITIL.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues in business terms.
- Client relationship and vendor management experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Strong commitment to personal development and continuous technical learning.
Responsibilities
- Support client Azure Data platforms and Power BI environments by analyzing and resolving incidents.
- Consult, develop, and advise on Microsoft Azure data solutions including Synapse, Data Factory, and Databricks.
- Design and deploy performant data pipelines, star schema data models, and Power BI dashboards.
- Configure, administer, and tune client data environments according to contracted services.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation for client environments.
- Communicate ticket statuses and technical solutions to clients clearly using business terms.
- Promote best practices and participate in recurring reviews with client stakeholders.
