Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years in customs brokerage, trade compliance, or account management.
  • Valid U.S. Customs Broker License issued by CBP or Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation.
  • Proficiency with ACE or similar data and analytics tools.
  • Ability to articulate and translate complex concepts to various audiences.
  • Experience pioneering emerging technologies in operations.
  • Project management skills with ability to track deliverables and manage risks.
  • Experience liaising with CBP, CBSA, PGAs, and other government agencies.
  • Knowledge of specialized programs such as AD/CVD, C-TPAT, duty drawback, FTAs, and tariff programs.
  • Familiarity with various modes of transport and cross-border operations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a knowledge leader in customs compliance as an escalation point for Internal Stakeholders.
  • Supervise a team of Broker Partner Success and Post-Entry Analysts remotely.
  • Coordinate weekend, holiday, and ongoing time zone coverage plans to support business continuity.
  • Support pre- and post-entry activity including clearance, exception management, and government agency requests.
  • Manage PSCs/Protests tracking in the US and Corrections/Adjustments in Canada.
  • Conduct ongoing meetings with broker partners and ABI users.
