Requirements
- 10+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio in both brand and product.
- Proven ability to operate at a high level of craft in visual identity systems and complex product workflows.
- Experience operating as a sole designer or within small, high-autonomy teams.
- Proficiency with AI-native design and prototyping tools like Cursor or Claude.
- Ability to work comfortably with ambiguity while maintaining precise execution.
- Strong collaborative skills with PMs and engineers.
- Nice to have: Genuine love of music and creator culture.
- Nice to have: Experience designing for audio tools, music software, or creator products.
- Nice to have: Front-end fluency in HTML, CSS, and React.
- Nice to have: Experience designing subscription or freemium product experiences.
Responsibilities
- Refresh the Kits brand and define a new visual identity consistent with the Splice family.
- Design the end-to-end workflow for AI vocal generation, transformation, and cloning.
- Design guardrails, disclosures, and trust signals to ensure ethical AI transparency.
- Design for multiple surfaces including web, VST plugin, desktop app, and mobile.
- Own product marketing and growth surfaces including landing pages and onboarding flows.
- Build and maintain design components, patterns, and documentation.
