Requirements
- 3 years of experience developing work products in Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- 1 year of professional experience with project management and program analysis.
- 1 year of experience presenting information verbally and facilitating discussions with organizational stakeholders.
- 2 years of professional experience working in teams.
- Demonstrated capability to independently conduct background research, structure written work products, and articulate findings.
- Interest in learning Federal financial execution such as reimbursables, federal accounting cycles, and reconciliations.
- Interest in working with Federal business systems related to accounting and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Support the entire Federal budget process including formulation, spend plan creation, contract closeout, and budget execution.
- Support the development of the FPS FPMD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution reference guide and training.
- Consolidate historical financial and budgetary records.
- Provide financial and budgetary records management support.
- Develop and provide knowledge management support through practices and process documentation.
- Provide supporting documents to resolve questions regarding obligations.
- Report on obligation timeliness, new obligations values vs. contract closeout de-obligations, backlogs, and error rates.
