Requirements

  • 3 years of experience developing work products in Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • 1 year of professional experience with project management and program analysis.
  • 1 year of experience presenting information verbally and facilitating discussions with organizational stakeholders.
  • 2 years of professional experience working in teams.
  • Demonstrated capability to independently conduct background research, structure written work products, and articulate findings.
  • Interest in learning Federal financial execution such as reimbursables, federal accounting cycles, and reconciliations.
  • Interest in working with Federal business systems related to accounting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Support the entire Federal budget process including formulation, spend plan creation, contract closeout, and budget execution.
  • Support the development of the FPS FPMD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution reference guide and training.
  • Consolidate historical financial and budgetary records.
  • Provide financial and budgetary records management support.
  • Develop and provide knowledge management support through practices and process documentation.
  • Provide supporting documents to resolve questions regarding obligations.
  • Report on obligation timeliness, new obligations values vs. contract closeout de-obligations, backlogs, and error rates.
