Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a BDR/SDR role, consulting, investment banking, or at a hyper-growth startup.
- Proven track record of hitting outbound activity and pipeline targets.
- Extraordinarily high agency in identifying and reaching key decision-makers.
- Strong research skills and intellectual curiosity regarding industry operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort with ambiguity and fast-paced work environments.
- Experience using AI tools to increase productivity and effectiveness.
- Strong understanding of higher education or experience selling to complex, regulated institutions is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute outbound campaigns to generate qualified meetings with university leaders.
- Research target accounts to identify entry points, org structures, and institutional pain points.
- Use a multi-channel approach including email, phone, and LinkedIn to engage prospects.
- Develop a working knowledge of higher education operations to ensure outreach is relevant and credible.
- Prioritize target accounts based on institutional fit, budget, and strategic indicators.
- Participate in discovery conversations to understand institutional needs and decision-making processes.
- Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene and logging in HubSpot.
- Share market intelligence and prospect feedback with the commercial team.
