  • 1+ years of experience in a BDR/SDR role, consulting, investment banking, or at a hyper-growth startup.
  • Proven track record of hitting outbound activity and pipeline targets.
  • Extraordinarily high agency in identifying and reaching key decision-makers.
  • Strong research skills and intellectual curiosity regarding industry operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and fast-paced work environments.
  • Experience using AI tools to increase productivity and effectiveness.
  • Strong understanding of higher education or experience selling to complex, regulated institutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute outbound campaigns to generate qualified meetings with university leaders.
  • Research target accounts to identify entry points, org structures, and institutional pain points.
  • Use a multi-channel approach including email, phone, and LinkedIn to engage prospects.
  • Develop a working knowledge of higher education operations to ensure outreach is relevant and credible.
  • Prioritize target accounts based on institutional fit, budget, and strategic indicators.
  • Participate in discovery conversations to understand institutional needs and decision-making processes.
  • Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene and logging in HubSpot.
  • Share market intelligence and prospect feedback with the commercial team.
