Requirements
- 1+ years of healthcare, sales, or customer service experience (preferably in a contact center environment).
- Trilingual in English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and internet navigation.
- Ability to multi-task using several systems and multiple monitors simultaneously.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive patient information.
- Must maintain a private, HIPAA-compliant remote workspace.
- Broadband internet access with minimum 24 mbps download and 4 mbps upload speeds.
- Capability to wear a headset/earpiece and sit for long durations.
- Must pass a background check, drug screening, and identity verification process.
Responsibilities
- Answer telephone calls promptly and professionally.
- Obtain and enter accurate demographic information into electronic medical records.
- Provide patient-focused service and answer inquiries to maintain a positive organizational impression.
- Meet and exceed established call volume standards.
- Handle, escalate, and document patient interactions and appointment scheduling in accordance with HIPAA policies.
- Suggest improvements to call flow processes and communication services.
- Manage call-backs and additional projects as call volume permits.
