Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or 1-2 years of related experience or training.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers.
  • Proficiency in inventory software, order processing systems, and word processing software.
  • Proven ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations.
  • Ability to listen and get clarification in positive or negative situations.
  • Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Handle initial customer contact for general inquiries such as pricing, products, and deliveries.
  • Act as liaison between customers and European mills.
  • Build and maintain business relationships with clients.
  • Perform order entry within an in-house database.
  • Manage inventory and stock replenishment.
  • Handle shipping documentation, logistics follow-up, and domestic logistics.
  • Manage collection of accounts receivables.
  • Perform special projects to enhance business operations and processes.
