Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or 1-2 years of related experience or training.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers.
- Proficiency in inventory software, order processing systems, and word processing software.
- Proven ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations.
- Ability to listen and get clarification in positive or negative situations.
- Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Handle initial customer contact for general inquiries such as pricing, products, and deliveries.
- Act as liaison between customers and European mills.
- Build and maintain business relationships with clients.
- Perform order entry within an in-house database.
- Manage inventory and stock replenishment.
- Handle shipping documentation, logistics follow-up, and domestic logistics.
- Manage collection of accounts receivables.
- Perform special projects to enhance business operations and processes.
