Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in positioning and selling large, complex solutions into the nonprofit sector.
  • Proven track record of consistent over-quota achievement within a software vendor.
  • Experience in both acquiring new business and cultivating existing relationships.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in building multi-level, consultative relationships, including with C-level executives.
  • Experience working within a solution-selling or consultative selling methodology.
  • Experience selling/navigating a complex sale.
  • Deep understanding of customer industry trends.
  • Experience selling into development offices is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage individual sales pipeline and committed contract revenue for prospective nonprofit clients.
  • Conduct product presentations and demos for prospective clients.
  • Negotiate annual recurring revenue contracts and manage existing client relationships.
  • Execute targeted outreach and prospect research using tools like LinkedIn.
  • Maintain accurate sales data and pipeline status in HubSpot.
  • Hold discovery and follow-up meetings to understand client pain points and decision-making timelines.
  • Coordinate with the Client Success team to discuss commitment options and pricing.
