Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience supporting Java-based web applications.
  • 2+ years using the Linux command line to parse logs and configure settings.
  • 2+ years of experience troubleshooting firewalls and proxies.
  • 2+ years working with a REST API.
  • 2+ years supporting a SaaS product or web application.
  • Practical experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to balance urgent tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills for articulating complex thoughts.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred.
  • Experience with KOTS technology preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver planned weekend support and on-call services.
  • Provide functional support via ticketing systems and screen shares.
  • Support self-hosted customers with installations, upgrades, and cloud migrations.
  • Analyze system logs, support bundles, and internal resources like Datadog.
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge articles.
  • Collaborate to identify, reproduce, and log software defects.
  • Utilize tools like Zendesk, IntelliJ IDEA, and the command line to resolve issues.
