Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience supporting Java-based web applications.
  • 2+ years using the Linux command line to parse logs and configure settings.
  • 2+ years of troubleshooting firewalls and proxies.
  • 2+ years of experience working with a REST API.
  • 2+ years supporting a SaaS product or web application.
  • Practical experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance urgent issues and recurring tasks.
  • Ability to articulate complex thoughts clearly and methodically.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred.
  • Experience with KOTS technology is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver planned weekend support and on-call services.
  • Provide functional support to customers and partners via ticketing systems and screen shares.
  • Support self-hosted customers with installations, upgrades, and migrations to cloud environments.
  • Contribute to documentation by reviewing and publishing knowledge articles.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify, reproduce, and log product defects.
  • Analyze logs and system resources using tools like Datadog and internal monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot issues using Zendesk, IntelliJ IDEA, VirtualBox, and command line tools.
