Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Health Information Management, or related technical field.
- Extensive background in sales engineering or solutions engineering within the healthcare sector.
- Deep understanding of healthcare IT systems, EHR platforms, Health Information Exchange (HIE), and health informatics.
- Working knowledge of healthcare data privacy and compliance standards (HIPAA, HITECH).
- Hands-on experience with telemedicine and virtual care solutions.
- Proven ability to lead technical sales cycles from discovery through to close.
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for executive audiences.
- Strong analytical and solution design skills for complex, scalable technical systems.
- Solid understanding of healthcare business models and payer economics.
- Master’s or advanced degree strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the organization’s foremost technical authority on healthcare IT and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with the Sales team to qualify opportunities, lead product demonstrations, and provide technical insights.
- Uncover prospect requirements and translate them into tailored technical solutions, customizations, and integration designs.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to communicate customer requirements into the product roadmap.
- Lead the technical components of RFP and RFI responses to clearly articulate technical differentiation.
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders at healthcare organizations and payers.
- Monitor trends in healthcare IT to inform internal product strategy and competitive positioning.
