Requirements

  • At least 8 years in enterprise business development, strategic partnerships, or complex enterprise sales.
  • Direct experience selling to or partnering with telecom carriers or deep domain experience in identity, fraud, or network APIs.
  • Demonstrated record of originating and closing large, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Experience structuring non-standard commercial constructs.
  • Proven track record of managing seven-figure-plus opportunities on 9–18 month cycles.
  • Strong grasp of identity, authentication, or fraud-prevention concepts (e.g., NIST IAL2/AAL2, OAuth, OIDC).
  • Trained in a leading sales or value methodology like Command of the Message or MEDDIC.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Ability to travel significantly to build high-trust relationships in person.
  • Experience at a high-growth startup or scale-up is highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Own ID.me’s end-to-end business development strategy for the major telecom carriers and associated ecosystem.
  • Originate, structure, and close complex partnership deals including commercial agreements, co-development and co-sell models.
  • Lead consultative engagement across carrier Network, Product, Security/Fraud, Consumer, and HR organizations.
  • Develop and execute account plans that move initial use cases into broader deployments.
  • Manage a qualified pipeline of partnership and revenue opportunities, delivering against bookings and strategic targets.
  • Translate ID.me’s value through executive narratives and business cases.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Solutions Consulting, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Success.
