Requirements
- BA/BS in business or life sciences required; MS or MBA preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in Bioanalytical Laboratory, Central Laboratory, Phase I, IIB Clinical Research, or CRO industries.
- At least 5 years of prior sales experience.
- Proven track record in building productive client relationships.
- Ability to design and deliver powerful solution-driven capabilities and proposal defense presentations.
- Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure without supervision.
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory as well as nationally and internationally.
- Experience in coordinating with internal clinical and operational personnel.
Responsibilities
- Achieve individual revenue and sales objectives through proactive communication and sales of late phase services to assigned clients.
- Identify new contact leads for potential Phase II-IV business.
- Develop and implement individual, territory, and key account strategies.
- Aid the development of project proposals, including communicating with internal teams and supporting study budget reviews.
- Coordinate and attend trade shows, including organizing meetings and managing exhibition arrangements.
- Conduct teleconferences, client meetings, and bid defense meetings in pursuit of new business opportunities.
- Provide continuous intelligence on competitors and update the CRM database regularly.
