Requirements
- BA/BS in business or life sciences (MS or MBA preferred).
- Ten (10) years of sales experience in Contract Research Organization (CRO) industries.
- Clinical Operations background preferred.
- Extensive knowledge in sales methods and practices.
- Knowledgeable in the drug development process.
- Fluent in the English language – written and oral.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with sales management software.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure without supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong presentation and negotiating skills.
Responsibilities
- Achieve individual revenue and sales objectives through proactive communication and sales for late-phase services.
- Connect the internal team to an established network of biotechnology and pharmaceutical contacts.
- Identify new contact leads for potential Phase II-IV business.
- Develop and implement individual, territory, and key account strategies for growth and retention.
- Aid in the development of project proposals, including communication with clients and budget reviews.
- Coordinate and attend trade shows, including organizing meetings and managing hospitality arrangements.
- Conduct teleconferences, client meetings, and bid defense meetings with key accounts.
- Provide competitive intelligence on key competitors, including their services and pricing.
- Maintain daily updates in the Sales Force Automation Client Contact and Mailing Database (CRM).
- Actively coordinate the interaction between the Sponsor and internal project team members.
