Job Details

8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of technical leadership across multiple teams or domains.
Deep expertise in designing and operating production-grade integration systems, including REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems.
Strong experience with API lifecycle management (versioning, contracts, deprecation) and API gateway technologies.
Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, or similar).
Hands-on experience building and operating cloud-based systems (AWS strongly preferred).
Familiarity with distributed systems concepts, asynchronous processing, and event streaming platforms.
Proven ability to drive architecture decisions and influence without formal authority.
Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools in daily engineering workflows.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and platform stakeholders.

Define and own the reference architecture for platform integrations, including API standards, integration patterns, and event-driven system design.
Lead architectural reviews and technical decision-making for cross-team and cross-product integration initiatives.
Design and evolve REST APIs, messaging systems, and integration frameworks.
Drive adoption of shared integration infrastructure and establish onboarding standards, documentation, and governance practices.
Contribute hands-on to backend development, including integration services, shared libraries, and developer tooling.
Identify systemic risks and architectural gaps proactively to improve system reliability.
Mentor senior engineers and elevate engineering practices through code reviews, RFCs, and design guidance.
