Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of experience in software development or systems integration.
- 8+ years of hands-on Workday integration development covering the full lifecycle.
- Expertise in Workday Studio (complex multi-step integrations, XSLT, fault frameworks).
- Proficiency in Workday tools: Core Connectors, EIBs, Document Transforms, and RaaS.
- Deep working knowledge of Workday Web Services (WWS), SOAP, and REST APIs.
- Technical proficiency in XSLT, XML, JSON, and Java (for custom Studio steps).
- Strong understanding of data security protocols (PGP, OAuth 2.0, SAML, WS-Security).
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with Git-based version control.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation.
- Demonstrated experience in technical leadership, shaping architecture, and mentoring teams.
Responsibilities
- Define and own Workday integration architecture, patterns, and governance frameworks.
- Architect, design, build, and maintain complex inbound and outbound integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, and Document Transforms.
- Develop and govern custom Workday Extend applications and integrations for extended HR functionality.
- Manage integration portfolios through Workday release cycles, including testing and deployment.
- Ensure production reliability by establishing SLAs, monitoring, and robust error-handling standards.
- Partner with HR, IT Security, and Finance teams to translate business requirements into technical architectures.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design documentation, and architectural guidance.
