Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in engineering, project development, or related technical roles.
- Experience with distributed energy systems such as solar PV, battery storage, microgrids, or cogeneration is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with construction-phase engineering support and project execution workflows.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and external partners.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or progress toward licensure is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support the development, design, and execution of distributed energy projects, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with project goals.
- Conduct site visits to evaluate existing conditions, gather technical data, and support feasibility assessments.
- Perform engineering analyses including preliminary system design, energy modeling, production estimates, and conceptual cost evaluations.
- Prepare engineering deliverables such as drawings, scopes of work, technical specifications, and project documentation.
- Support the preparation and evaluation of requests for proposals, subcontractor bids, and vendor equipment selections.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to support quality control and successful project delivery.
- Provide engineering input throughout the project lifecycle, including design, construction, commissioning, and system turnover.
