Requirements
- Experience in healthcare, patient access, admissions, care coordination, community outreach, or member intake roles
- Strong ability to engage in consultative conversations with empathy, confidence, and a solutions-oriented mindset
- Comfort working in a metrics-driven environment with performance targets and outcome-based goals
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive or emotionally complex conversations professionally
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups simultaneously
- Tech-savvy with experience using CRM systems, scheduling tools, or similar digital platforms
- Self-starter mindset with strong ownership and accountability for outcomes and follow-through
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, evolving, and mission-driven environment
- Passion for improving access to mental health and addiction care services
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective members via phone, web inquiries, and online scheduling platforms
- Proactively follow up with individuals who begin but do not complete scheduling, submit inquiries, or miss initial appointments
- Educate prospective members on care options using a consultative approach while clearly explaining available services and pathways
- Identify individual needs, motivations, and barriers while addressing concerns and guiding members toward appropriate care solutions
- Manage inbound referrals from external providers, ensuring timely outreach and accurate communication of next steps
- Maintain ownership of assigned leads, creating follow-up plans and ensuring consistent engagement throughout the intake process
- Accurately document all interactions, updates, and outcomes in CRM and EMR systems such as Salesforce and Athena
- Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to ensure a seamless and supportive member onboarding experience
