Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of finance/accounting related experience.
- 1+ years of pricing experience in federal and state government contracting.
- Experience working on pricing efforts for federal agencies (e.g., GSA, HHS, VA, EPA) and state/local government agencies.
- Strong understanding of FAR, DFARS, CAS, GSA Schedule pricing, and state-specific procurement regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (modeling, pivot tables, macros) and Google Sheets.
- Knowledge of government accounting practices and indirect rate structures.
- Understanding of grant-based pricing structures for federally funded state programs.
- Experience with Cost-Plus, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time & Materials (T&M), and other government contract types.
- Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end pricing efforts for federal and state government solicitations including RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
- Build and refine accurate pricing models, including cost-volume analysis, to support bid processes.
- Ensure all pricing proposals adhere to FAR, DFARS, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and other regulations.
- Prepare cost estimates for labor, materials, subcontractors, and travel, including the documentation of Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
- Provide strategic financial modeling and analysis to support company-level financial decision-making.
- Develop pricing strategies in collaboration with Capture, Contracts, and Finance teams to enhance competitiveness.
- Identify financial risks associated with proposals and recommend mitigation strategies.
