Requirements
- 3+ years experience as a veterinary technician.
- Credentialed as CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT preferred.
- Ability to work from home with reliable high-speed internet (at least 50 mbps) and a headset.
- Quiet and distraction-free environment for 10-hour shifts.
- High comfort level with multi-tasking, typing, and navigating multiple computer programs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy.
- Must be available to work 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts, including 2-3 weekends per month.
Responsibilities
- Provide medically appropriate tele-triage, patient assessment, and case direction.
- Communicate diagnostic results, treatment plans, and education to clients.
- Support DVMs with care delivery, medical advice boundaries, and follow-up.
- Review and approve medication requests using standing orders.
- Support clinics and Virtual Care Coordinators with medical inquiries and administrative needs.
- Manage a high volume of emails, calls, and platform-based messages.
- Document all medical interactions and update patient accounts in Vetspire.
