Requirements
- React Native engineering with production experience on iOS and Android.
- Proven experience shipping and maintaining production React Native apps.
- Experience building and maintaining REST APIs with Python and Django (DRF).
- Strong understanding of designing for scale, latency, and reliability for 1M+ monthly visitors.
- Familiarity with Apple and Google release processes including TestFlight and Play Console.
- Knowledge of app signing, certificates, and deployment pipelines.
- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and efficient database usage.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a remote, asynchronous environment.
- Experience using Notion or similar organizational tools.
- Portfolio or projects demonstrating shipped mobile apps.
Responsibilities
- Ship new React Native features across iOS and Android.
- Maintain and improve the app through bug fixes, refactoring, and managing release cycles.
- Build and maintain Python and Django (DRF) APIs to support mobile app functionality.
- Optimize backend performance, mobile latency, and scalability to support over 1M monthly visitors.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to manage core features like onboarding, auth, profile, orders, and chat.
