Requirements
- Strong, hands-on experience building and shipping React Native applications in production.
- Deep TypeScript proficiency.
- Deep knowledge of iOS/Android.
- Track record owning mobile architecture including navigation, state, and data layers.
- Experience scaling B2C mobile apps with millions of users with a focus on reliability.
- Demonstrated production ownership including incident response and improving observability.
- Experience improving delivery systems like CI/CD, automated testing, and release processes.
- Staff-level IC behaviors including influencing without authority and aligning stakeholders.
- Ability to write clear technical documentation.
- Ability to lead through execution.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve Feeld’s React Native/mobile architecture, setting patterns that scale across iOS and Android.
- Drive performance and quality including rendering, startup, networking, offline behavior, and app size.
- Lead technical discovery and delivery for platform initiatives such as shared UI foundations and build tooling.
- Partner with Product and Design to translate goals into resilient technical plans and make trade-offs.
- Improve production ownership via instrumentation, alerting, dashboards, runbooks, and reliable release practices.
- Act as a Staff-level IC leader by raising the bar through reviews, pairing, mentorship, and decision-making.
