Requirements
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership.
- 15+ years of professional legal experience, primarily in high-growth technology companies.
- Deep SaaS commercial expertise (subscription agreements, DPA, API, enterprise deals).
- Fluency in AI/ML legal issues (data licensing, privacy, algorithmic accountability).
- Strong executive presence and ability to advise non-legal business leaders.
- Experience in corporate governance, including Board Secretary or equivalent responsibilities.
- Strong preference for PE-backed company experience and full exit-cycle knowledge.
- Demonstrated interest in legal technology and AI tool implementation.
Responsibilities
- Own and implement the legal AI stack for contract review, CLM, and regulatory monitoring.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to develop legal and ethical frameworks for ML pricing models.
- Architect scalable commercial contracting processes to drive global growth.
- Manage exit-readiness, corporate governance, and Board Secretary duties.
- Oversee legal budget, external counsel, and global employment law matters.
- Collaborate with Finance on enterprise risk management, insurance, and tax exposure.
