Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in value engineering, management consulting, or a related customer-facing role.
- Expert knowledge and experience in value-based-selling methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience in building and briefing business cases to Economic Buyers and other executives.
- Expertise in identifying and prioritizing use cases and establishing a value delivery model.
- Strong ability to project manage across multiple workstreams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act decisively with ambiguous guidance and circumstances.
- Experience working effectively in an asynchronous, fully remote team environment.
- Proven record of influencing senior executives and driving measurable outcomes.
- Prior Business Value experience in a high-growth SaaS startup is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales and account teams to develop value delivery strategies for key accounts.
- Engage top prospects to identify, understand, and quantify business challenges and potential benefits.
- Define and communicate the dbt Labs value proposition aligned with customer objectives.
- Lead business value reviews and create business cases for economic buyers.
- Conduct thorough analyses of customer workflows to identify optimization and efficiency opportunities.
- Create and deliver boardroom-quality, executive presentations.
- Partner with leadership to build new value-based GTM motions.
- Build scalable programs and tools to support value selling across Pre-Sale, Professional Services, and Marketing teams.
