Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 10+ years of proven event production experience.
- 5-7 years of management or supervisory experience.
- Strong project management skills with proven ability to lead teams.
- Thorough understanding of permitting standards (TPA, Fire, Health & Safety, etc.).
- Extensive knowledge of event design, layout, staging, lighting, sound, and scenic elements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Apple applications and team project software.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time while working remotely.
- Ability to work in a standing position 50% or more of the time while working offsite.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally heavier items.
- Availability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead production efforts and annual event calendars for a retained client.
- Scope projects, develop workback timelines, and create indicative budgets.
- Identify staffing needs and build comprehensive staffing plans.
- Advise clients as a subject matter expert for production.
- Lead execution of large or complex projects as the primary producer.
- Define roles and responsibilities for project teams.
- Oversee project delivery, event operations, and project health.
- Manage freelance resources and organize communication between team members.
