Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in client success, portfolio, or account management team leadership.
  • Experience within or serving professional services firms, ideally in the legal industry.
  • Proven ability to drive retention and support growth across a portfolio of enterprise accounts.
  • Success leading and managing teams of at least 10 people.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills to develop talent and hold teams accountable.
  • Expertise in executive-level relationship management.
  • Strong consultative and communication skills to influence stakeholders.
  • Experience with change management or developing adoption strategies for enterprise technology platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills to synthesize data into recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to travel 20–30% of the year.

Responsibilities

  • Build and oversee a portfolio strategy that optimizes account assignments and identifies client success opportunities.
  • Drive regular business reviews using KPIs, coverage data, and risk signals to ensure measurable client outcomes.
  • Align with Sales segment leads on account-specific goals and execution against shared objectives.
  • Build executive relationships within key accounts to ensure a trusted partnership.
  • Lead escalation management for high-risk client situations to ensure resolution.
  • Own retention and growth targets, including renewal forecasting and success play development.
  • Coach team members on best practices, product knowledge, and industry-specific guidance.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing team of client success professionals.
