Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical business development, technical sales, CDMO services, or biotech outsourcing.
- Existing professional network within pharmaceutical, biotech, or CDMO ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of chemical synthesis, process development, GMP manufacturing, and scale-up operations.
- Proven track record in developing enterprise pipelines and securing outsourcing contracts.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a client-facing commercial role.
- Native or fluent Mandarin Chinese and professional English proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a pipeline of pharmaceutical and biotech clients across the US and Europe for CDMO and small molecule outsourcing services.
- Identify and engage decision-makers in procurement, CMC, external manufacturing, and R&D departments.
- Lead commercial negotiations for CDAs, NDAs, MSAs, and long-term service contracts.
- Manage RFP/RFQ opportunities by coordinating with internal technical and manufacturing teams.
- Attend industry conferences, networking events, and client visits to build market presence.
- Present technical manufacturing and process development capabilities to enterprise-level stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform commercial strategy.
- Facilitate communication between international clients and manufacturing operations at headquarters.
