Requirements
- Proven experience with Ruby (Rails or similar frameworks).
- Strong proficiency in Angular (14+) and TypeScript.
- Skilled in maintaining legacy AngularJS and Angular 8 applications.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL design, queries, and performance tuning.
- Solid experience with trunk-based development and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in a no-QA environment with a focus on quality ownership.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and JIRA-driven workflows.
- Excellent communication and mentoring capabilities.
- Enthusiasm for leveraging AI-assisted development tools.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch is a plus.
- Exposure to C#/.NET (7+) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Participate actively in scrums, sprint planning, and JIRA-driven workflows.
- Own the design, development, testing, release, and support of your work.
- Develop backend services using Ruby (Rails) and optionally C#/.NET 7/8.
- Maintain frontend applications using Angular 14/15, TypeScript, and legacy AngularJS/Angular 8.
- Design and optimize MySQL schemas and queries.
- Contribute continuously to trunk-based development.
- Write and maintain automated tests in a no-QA environment.
- Mentor teammates, lead code reviews, and uphold engineering standards.
- Leverage AI tools like Claude Code and Codex to improve productivity.
