Requirements
- 5+ years of product management or equivalent experience leading cross-functional product initiatives.
- Proven experience working on internet-scale or consumer-facing digital products in agile environments.
- Strong ability to define product strategy and drive execution across engineering, design, and analytics teams.
- Experience analyzing data and using insights to guide product decisions and measure outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and communities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills in complex environments with competing priorities.
- Familiarity or experience in online safety, trust & safety, privacy, or security-focused products is highly desirable.
- Background in working with open or online communities is a strong plus.
- Technical or engineering background in software or information security is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for safety, trust, and platform integrity initiatives.
- Identify high-impact problem areas and prioritize initiatives that strengthen user safety and system resilience.
- Lead development of product features and technical interventions that reduce abuse, manipulation, and security risks.
- Manage cross-functional teams including engineering, design, data science, and community engagement.
- Leverage data analysis and community insights to inform product decisions and measure impact.
- Engage directly with global volunteer communities to gather feedback and ensure transparency in product development.
- Monitor trends in online safety, privacy, and emerging technologies to proactively address risks and opportunities.
- Ensure effective communication with stakeholders across technical, organizational, and community groups.
