Requirements
- Exceptional communication skills and proven ability to show initiative
- Pragmatic approach to problem-solving and adaptability to changing requirements
- Strong command of serverless architectures (AWS SAM/Lambda)
- Deep practical experience with NoSQL databases, specifically DynamoDB
- Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining microservices and bounded contexts
- Demonstrated ability in REST API design and implementing event-driven patterns
- Experience with OAuth and managing inbound and outbound webhooks
- Experience with CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions
- Experience developing and integrating full-stack web applications (TypeScript, React, Node.js)
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical leadership in the development team
- Drive the implementation of development activities including owning technical design and project execution
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and define user story acceptance criteria
- Design and develop cloud-enabled products using modern frameworks
- Mentor Software Engineers through coaching and training opportunities
- Translate requirements to sprint stories and execute on them
- Build and maintain integrations between the platform and third-party HRIS systems
- Design and develop new services leveraging serverless, event-driven microservices architecture
