Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on Java experience in commercial software engineering roles.
- Solid understanding of SOLID principles and passion for maintainable code.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging/streaming technologies.
- Strong SQL skills and knowledge of relational database design.
- Experience with non-relational databases like DynamoDB or MongoDB.
- Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines and conducting code reviews.
- Familiarity with TDD or BDD practices and Scrum methodology.
- Ability to work with multiple programming languages.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, operate, and improve backend services within an event-driven architecture.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to translate user stories into technical designs and features.
- Advocate for technical improvements and define engineering priorities.
- Contribute to code reviews, planning, and team ceremonies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Mentor team members and advocate for SOLID principles.
