Requirements
- Manager of managers for 2+ years.
- Experience leading multi-team engineering organizations of 20+.
- Proven track record of operational excellence and managing high-availability services.
- Ability to define and improve engineering metrics and standards.
- Strong technical judgment regarding code, systems, and operating cadences.
- AI-native fluency with daily usage of AI tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional partners.
- Experience in B2B SaaS or regulated environments (fintech, accounting, payments) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach engineering managers across infrastructure, foundations, tax engine, implementations, and productivity teams.
- Define rhythms, metrics, and standards including cycle planning, design reviews, and incident response.
- Set technical direction for core infrastructure on GCP and data ingestion pipelines.
- Drive operational excellence initiatives to achieve daily deployments and robust incident root-cause analysis.
- Partner with peer product leaders to align engineering execution with product goals.
- Hire, performance manage, and scale the engineering leadership team.
