- 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership building SaaS products in a modern SaaS environment
- 5+ years of experience at the director level or higher
- Hands-on experience with Claude Code or similar AI development tools
- Deep knowledge of best practices for scalable delivery, core platform systems, and site reliability engineering
- Experience developing, evolving, and maintaining high-volume, scalable solutions
- Experience in organizing engineering teams to deliver customer value iteratively
- Proven track record in hiring, building, leading, and coaching managers
- Demonstrated success in performance management
- Success working with architecture and product management leaders on shared vision
- Experience in a fully remote environment
Responsibilities
- Deliver performant, scalable products iteratively
- Drive the technical roadmap and best practices for our product platform
- Innovate new uses for AI development tooling
- Attract, recruit, and retain top engineering talent
- Hire and coach engineering managers
- Set clear expectations and conduct performance conversations
- Measure engineering performance to optimize team structure and processes
- Implement improvements to engineering practices and processes
- Partner with engineering, product, and architecture leaders
- Collaborate with Architecture, Product Management, and Threat Operations teams
