Requirements
- 6–12+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Solution Architecture.
- 2–5+ years of team leadership or management experience.
- Experience in Education Technology (EdTech), SaaS, or enterprise software.
- Strong understanding of the EdTech ecosystem and education data standards.
- Proven ability to design and architect solutions to complex technical problems.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated strategic mindset connecting technical solutions to business objectives.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and demo platforms.
- Technical background in software engineering, IT, or systems architecture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Build, lead, mentor, and coach a team of Solutions Engineers.
- Define solutions engineering strategy aligned with revenue goals.
- Partner with Sales to provide technical support for strategic and enterprise opportunities.
- Conduct needs assessments and lead executive-level product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts.
- Develop value-based solutions addressing LMS platforms, data integrations, and APIs.
- Communicate customer requirements and market needs to Product teams.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure seamless implementation handoffs.
- Develop and track departmental metrics like technical win rate and sales cycle length.
