Engineering at Algolia

Algolia's core search engine is meticulously crafted from scratch in C++. This powerful engine is hosted within an NGINX server. Our newer frontend work utilizes modern frameworks like Angular and React. You will work with Ruby and contribute to plans for integrating more Golang into the stack. We employ event-driven infrastructure, leveraging platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS). Engineers here tackle challenges in distributed systems and managing large datasets. You will ensure high traffic performance and uphold rigorous code quality standards. We emphasize automated testing and engineering best practices.
