- Minimum 2 years of Gastroenterology experience in outpatient or telehealth settings.
- Strong clinical documentation skills.
- Comfortable practicing autonomously in a remote care environment.
- Reliable internet connection.
- Familiarity with telemedicine technology.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual evaluations and follow-up visits for adult patients with gastro conditions.
- Collaborate closely with collaborating gastroenterologists and care team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies as clinically appropriate.
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Provide patient education and counseling on diagnoses, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain compliance with all telehealth regulations, licensure requirements, and practice standards.
