Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
- Minimum 3 years of NP experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in adult oncology with urgent care responsibilities.
- Minimum 1 year of telehealth experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Effective listener and communicator with the ability to build rapport.
- Proficiency with or willingness to learn new technologies, including Google Suite, Slack, and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
- Available for occasional holiday, night, and weekend emergency coverage.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage members with urgent symptoms or treatment complications via a telemedicine platform.
- Assess symptoms, develop comprehensive care plans, triage care, and ensure follow-up with treating clinicians.
- Collaborate with onboarding RNs to develop care plans addressing clinical and non-clinical needs.
- Review medical records and provide clinical insights to the care team.
- Direct interdisciplinary case conferences and provide clinical oversight to Community Health Workers and Oncology Nurse Navigators.
- Complete annual clinical intake visits for select members.
