Requirements
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active DEA license (schedule 3N, 4, 5) or willingness to obtain
- Fully licensed to practice in Delaware
- Ability to provide patient-centered, non-judgmental, compassionate care
- Proficient in working in a remote telehealth environment
- Working knowledge of differential diagnosis of substance use disorders
- Basic knowledge of psychopharmacology for OUD
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a team setting
- Working knowledge of evidence-based psychosocial treatments and counseling
Responsibilities
- Determine individualized treatment plans for patients
- Facilitate changes to treatment plans independently or via consultation
- Conduct motivational interviewing and behavioral interventions
- Perform behavioral health/psych evaluations
- Monitor treatment response, clinical symptoms, and medication side effects
- Prescribe or queue medications
- Provide patient education on OUD and MOUD
- Document all patient encounters in the company EHR
