Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or CHEA.
- An equivalent of 15 semester credit hours in the subject field taught.
- Academic preparation in the specific courses taught.
- 3+ years of occupational experience.
- Active industry certification/licensure consistent with employment in the healthcare field of instruction.
- Computer literacy and ability to navigate required technologies.
- Ability to professionally communicate fluently in verbal and written English.
- Ability to work independently and with supervision.
- Ability to contribute to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Must have a home office setup, ability to be on camera, and ability to hardwire into high-speed internet.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the standardized distance education curriculum according to an assigned schedule.
- Facilitate discussion forums and interactive course posts to promote student interaction and engagement.
- Host two synchronous office hours per week using designated scheduling software and virtual classroom tools.
- Complete weekly student outreach and monitor academic progress.
- Grade course activities and provide timely, constructive academic feedback.
- Adhere to company policies and maintain up-to-date faculty files.
- Communicate effectively with program leadership and students.
