Requirements
- 3-5 years of accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding and application of U.S. GAAP.
- Proficiency with SOX compliance and internal control standards.
- Experience with monthly close, consolidations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills for working with auditors and cross-functional teams.
- Big Four public accounting experience is preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is preferred.
- Experience with SEC filings, external audits, and foreign currency translation is preferred.
- Experience with AI-enabled finance tools or automation is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the monthly close and consolidation process ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and prepare comprehensive monthly variance analyses.
- Manage assigned corporate accounting areas including journal entries, supporting schedules, and SOX control evidence.
- Collaborate with Cost Accounting, FP&A, and other teams to support reporting, close activities, and intercompany eliminations.
- Prepare accounting documentation for acquisitions, lease agreements, and SEC reporting support.
- Document and maintain SOX control requirements and support internal/external audit requests.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and automation to enhance accounting workflows and data analytics.
