Requirements
- Significant Product Management experience, including leading strategy across multiple teams or complex technical workflows.
- Experience directly managing Product Managers, including coaching, feedback, performance management, and hiring.
- Strong technical fluency in infrastructure, cloud platforms, observability, telemetry, data pipelines, or high-scale databases.
- Strong product instincts regarding AI in technical products used by developers, operators, or SREs.
- Strong customer empathy and ability to translate complex problems into clear product strategy and tradeoffs.
- Proven cross-functional leadership skills influencing Engineering, Design, Advocacy, Marketing, and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to create clarity in ambiguity and operate effectively in a remote-first environment.
- BS/BA in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the product vision and strategy for Data Collection, Transformation, and Ingestion as a core platform capability.
- Partner with senior R&D leaders to align product and technical strategy, ensuring the roadmap balances customer value and platform leverage.
- Use customer research, analytics, and competitive insight to identify and solve high-impact problems.
- Define how AI should influence domain workflows, including instrumentation, configuration, cost optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with technical buyers and observability practitioners.
- Coach and develop a team of Product Managers to improve their product judgment, strategy, and cross-functional leadership.
- Create a high-accountability, high-trust environment to drive team success.
