Requirements

  • Proven experience in MSP service delivery, technical operations, or a similar IT services environment.
  • Strong understanding of ticket flow, project management, escalations, and service priorities in an MSP.
  • Demonstrated ability to build repeatable systems, improve workflows, and create operational cadence.
  • Experience leading technical teams, managers, or team leads.
  • Ability to understand technical issues well enough to guide priorities and hold team members accountable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Calm, organized, and decisive leadership style.
  • Comfort balancing hands-on involvement with operational planning.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in MSP operations leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operational flow across service delivery, projects, and internal priorities.
  • Strengthen workflows, SOPs, communication, documentation, and accountability.
  • Guide service priorities, ticket flow, project handoffs, and escalation paths.
  • Create visibility into service quality, workloads, priorities, risks, and results.
  • Lead, coach, and support managers, team leads, and technical team members.
  • Align operations with business goals and translate leadership vision into execution.
  • Help reduce dependency on key individuals by building repeatable systems.
