Requirements
- Significant mission-relevant experience within K-12 Education or closely related public education environments.
- Experience with district or network leadership roles or advisory work with those teams.
- Experience with large-scale digital learning initiatives like 1:1 programs, LMS adoption, and virtual/hybrid learning.
- Experience with infrastructure and security programs supporting K-12, such as network modernization and data protection.
- Demonstrated ability to connect K-12 mission objectives to technology strategies and architectures.
- Track record in device lifecycle management, SIS/LMS ecosystems, and network/security architectures.
- Ability to operate at the executive level while engaging with technical and instructional stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills tailored to K-12 missions and funding realities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a large matrix environment coordinating across sales, presales, and corporate functions.
- Executive management or business development experience in K-12 or ed-tech strongly preferred.
- Advanced degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for K-12 missions, leveraging real-world experience with school districts and state agencies.
- Build deep, executive-level relationships with education decision makers such as superintendents, CIOs, and curriculum leaders.
- Assist K-12 institutions in constructing holistic solutions for digital learning and secure, resilient infrastructure.
- Translate mission needs into scalable solution patterns that can be replicated across regional and state-led initiatives.
- Partner with Dell account teams and solution architects to align the portfolio with K-12 missions and program roadmaps.
- Leverage knowledge of the K-12 environment to help sales teams anticipate future needs in device programs, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
- Perform critical problem-solving regarding funding cycles, procurement rules, and staffing constraints.
- Drive collaboration with ecosystem partners to co-create scalable solutions.
