Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Active state teaching license.
- Trade and Industrial Education Certification, Trade and Industrial Workforce Training, or Vocational Trades and Industry certification.
- Ability to clear a background check.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms.
- Commitment to maintaining teacher certification and professional development hours.
- Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week.
- Ability to travel up to 20% for professional development, testing, and school requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide rich and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students.
- Personalize learning for all students and differentiate instruction based on student mastery levels.
- Monitor student progress, maintain grade books, and alert administrators to performance concerns.
- Communicate regularly with students and learning coaches to provide instructional support.
- Administer assessments and support Career & Technical Student Organization activities.
- Collaborate with school staff and industry partners to create work-based learning opportunities.
