Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree in Business, Math, English, or Legal preferred.
- 2-5 years of foreclosure or mortgage default related experience (foreclosure preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience with mortgage loan software highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of mortgage loan documentation and best servicing practices.
- Familiarity with RESPA, FFDCPA, GLBA, and federal/state laws related to foreclosure and bankruptcy.
- Working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA foreclosure regulations.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access, and MSP (LPS/Fidelity) applications.
- Strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced multi-tasking, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Execute various financial foreclosure documents per Federal Compliance standards.
- Review and execute attorney-provided foreclosure documents to prepare loans for sheriff’s sale.
- Calculate bidding instructions for nationwide foreclosure sales.
- Review and provide HAMP certification notifications prior to foreclosure sales.
- Provide management with status updates and reporting while ensuring compliance with investor guidelines.
- Support internal staff with questions regarding foreclosure loans.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings as needed.
