Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience building and shipping production software systems.
- Strong backend or full-stack engineering proficiency.
- Demonstrated experience building APIs and integrating with external systems.
- Experience working with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Exposure to LLM systems, specifically RAG, prompting, and evaluations.
- Comfort working directly with enterprise customers.
- Strong ownership skills with the ability to translate ambiguous problems into shipped solutions.
- Familiarity with enterprise SaaS deployment models.
- Knowledge of legal technology or document-heavy workflows.
- Experience with security, compliance, and data handling (e.g., SOC2).
- Experience designing infrastructure on AWS using CDK.
- Background in fast-paced startup environments.
Responsibilities
- Partner with customers to understand legal workflows and technical environments, leading end-to-end implementations in complex organizations.
- Build integrations between Spellbook and enterprise infrastructure including document management systems, identity systems, and internal APIs.
- Design and implement workflow-heavy solutions covering approvals, routing, permissions, and auditability.
- Tune model inference, augment context, and adapt product experience to meet specific enterprise customer requirements.
- Drive user adoption by iterating rapidly based on feedback from lawyers and legal operations teams.
- Identify repeatable deployment patterns to influence the core product roadmap and platform capabilities.
