Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required).
- 5 to 7 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Public accounting experience is highly desirable.
- Advanced knowledge of financial accounting concepts and US GAAP.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Proven track record in audit coordination and support.
- Experience preparing financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- CPA designation (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Perform complex month-end close tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Research and document accounting treatment for transactions involving revenue recognition, business combinations, leases, and stock-based compensation.
- Lead interim and annual audit processes as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
- Prepare lender reporting packages and internal reporting documentation.
- Draft annual financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures.
- Mentor team members on US GAAP compliance and internal control best practices.
- Collaborate across departments to resolve accounting issues and drive process improvements.
